Your initial contact with Tek Sci is NOT a major commitment. When we receive your email, our first priority is to determine if there is an honest "mutual benefit" for our two businesses.
If we think there is potential, we will set up an initial meeting. At this initial meeting, we will learn about your company's position and propose some ideas to consider for a second meeting.
The second meeting is when we will discuss real business: applying your company's priorities to our initial ideas, and listening to your responses to our proposal from the initial meeting.
At our initial meeting, we will NOT pressure you to "close." We can not propose an agreement to produce your video until we have actually learned about your business needs first. We respect our clients, and we are confident that after thoroughly evaluating our company, you will decide to do business with Tek Sci Productions.
After you have accepted our estimate, we will begin preproduction on your video. Ideally, we would have a month or two to secure locations and talent. Production and post production of a typical five-minute video would take about one week each. The exact timeline for your video would depend on the nature of your project. Your project's timeline will be presented along with the estimated cost at our second meeting, after we understand the extent of your project from our discussion at the initial meeting.
We can produce your enitre video within a week, if your company requires it. This "priority production" is available at considerable additional cost. We will be working around the clock not just for your project, but working overtime for other projects that we pushed back to work on yours. Talent will also expect greater compensation if they need to drop everything to work on your project on short notice. The less notice we have, the more expensive your production will be. We highly recommend against priority production, unless absolutely necessary.
We will present the final product to you upon the video's completion. The number and timing of "approval checks" will vary depending on the project. We recommend client approal for a typical project at the script/storyboard stage, rough cut, and upon project completion.
