Tek Sci Productions is very discerning about whom we employ. Most of our part-time and full-time employees have started as interns or freelancers. They have been promoted to greater responsibilites, after we have evaluated their work first hand.

We are a high-growth company, and Dr. Campos recognizes that the rate of growth is limited by the number of skilled employees. However, he also believes that it is better to leave a position vacant than to fill a position with a mediocre employee.

The result is that Tek Sci declines the majority of applicants, but is always looking to hire skilled personnel, for both creative and business positions.

  • Skill: We hire only the best graphic artists, or the best marketing consultants. If we did not have skilled employees, we could not offer real benefits to our clients, and we could only convince clients to work with Tek Sci through dishonesty. Skill is the fundamental value for Tek Sci. (Our interns must be skilled at learning, willing to work hard to attain real experience on the job.) Our employees must be skilled not only in their specific area, but also skilled at working with other specialists within a creative and business team. Employees must also be skilled at self control, respecting the chain of command.

  • Attitude: Tek Sci always aims for "mutual benefit." For employees, the benefit for them is financial compensation and a positive work environment. For Tek Sci the benefit is skilled labor towards a high quality product. Tek Sci does pay its full and part time employees "above average" relative to their experience and skills. However, we are NOT the highest paying employer. Our employees remain with Tek Sci not because they can earn the most money, but because we provide a phenomenal work environment, worthwhile projects, and challenging growth opportunities.
